Lahore : A delegation led by Haji Tahir Naveed, Central President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Traders Wing called on Mian Aslam Iqbal, Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce at committee room of Punjab Board of Investment and Trade today. During the meeting, problems faced by industrialists and traders and issues of power Looms of Kasur were discussed. The delegation demanded establishment of Industrial Estate, Technical College for Labour Training and Technical Lab in Kasur. The Provincial Minister assured the delegation of solution of their genuine issues. Talking to the delegation, Mian Aslam Iqbal said that Punjab government has planned to set up industrial estates in every district of the province. A comprehensive plan for establishing tannery zone is also being evolved. Government land will be prioritized for the establishment of industrial zone in Kasur, he added. The provincial minister said that it is the responsibility of the government to solve the problems of industrialists and traders and provide facilities to them. He said that industrialization play a key role in enhancing economic growth and job opportunities. The process of industrialization is accelerated due to the policies of the government, he concluded. The delegation included President of Kasur Power Looms Association Arshad Gujjar, Secretary Haji Ansar, Syed Adnan Jamil, Muhammad Siddique and others.
