ISLAMABAD, (Parliament Times) : Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi’s full support for Kashmiris, became the first Prime Minister to speak on the Parliamentary Committee on National Security. Prime Minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi attended a meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security yesterday.
According to sources, in the meeting of the National Security Committee, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and DG ISI General Faiz Hameed gave a detailed briefing to the committee on the situation in the region, the latest situation in Afghanistan and other important issues.
Various parliamentary leaders from the meeting also expressed their views. Prime Minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi also addressed the parliamentary committee.
The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi presented the latest situation of Occupied Kashmir to the political and military leadership. Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi in his speech unveiled Indian plans.
He said that India is committing grave human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir. Residents of the Line of Control (LoC) are also not safe from Indian barbarism. He said that he is grateful to the government of Pakistan and the Pakistan Army for setting up the ceasefire on the Line of Control.
Answering questions from the media after the meeting, Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi said that the issue of Afghanistan has been discussed in a very good manner. My position on the Kashmir issue was also presented today. Soon these camera meetings on the Kashmir issue should also be convened. We were thankful for the ceasefire on LOC. Our government and army played a great role so that people can breathe a sigh of relief.
Replying to a question, Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi said that the position of Kashmir was fully presented by the PTI leadership. President Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry has mastered the Kashmir issue and in this regard he has paid a successful visit to the UK on the instructions of Prime Minister Imran Khan. We are making rapid efforts to resolve the Kashmir issue on a diplomatic basis.
