Islamabad, (Parliament Times) : Federal Minister for Science and Technology Syed Shibli Faraz took oath from the office bearers of International Forum for Pakistani Columnists and Anchors (IFPCA).
On the occasion, Muhammad Asif Noor, President, Waqar Fani Mughal, Vice President, Wazir Ali Nusrat, Vice President, Dr. Zainullah Khattak, Chief Organiser, Asghar Hayat, Additional Secretary, Raja Kamran, Secretary Coordination, Suhaib Bin Noor, Secretary Finance, took oath as the office bearers of IFPCA. IFPCA has been established with leading Pakistani columnists, Anchors, Bloggers, and Vloggers for the promotion of the soft image of Pakistan across the globe. IFPCA is aimed at narrative building to realize full potentials of journalists for Pakistan. IFPCA is introducing finest professional practices in the media industry with new innovative technologies, responsible journalism, and empowerment of the anchors and columnists. This will help the media personels to play a constructive role in developing informed policies on international, regional and national issues in the best interest of Pakistan and its citizens.
On the occasion, Minister appreciated the efforts of IFPCA to promote the soft image of Pakistan on the global stage. Muhammad Asif Noor, President IFPCA briefed the minister about the aims, objectives, activities, and future course of action with the Minister. He said that through the constructive engagement with the Diplomatic Missions of foreign countries in Pakistan, IFPCA is meant to improve the bilateral relations of the countries with Pakistan through the effective use of this Public Diplomacy.
