Rawalpindi,(Parliament Times):  Preparations for the elections in four cantonment boards in district Rawalpindi and three of Attock district have been completed while 15 out of 16 candidates of Kamra Cantt have boycotted the elections due to boundary dispute.The number of voters in the ten constituencies of Rawalpindi Cantt Board is 2,79559 for which 277 polling stations will be set up. According to the cantt Election Cell, the number of voters in ten constituencies of Wah Cantonment is 1,96,250 while Ward No. 8 Lalarukh is the largest with a total of 27,826 voters.

The Taxila cantt Board has 15,972 voters in five wards. According to the CPO Rawalpindi office, out of 161 polling stations in the two cantonments of the tehsil, 26 have been placed in category A and 54 in category B. The Chaklala Cantt Board has 80,545 male voters and 75,128 female voters. A total of 9 wards in three cantonment boards of Attock district and Saima Ashiq Kamra have been elected unopposed as the first uncontested female member in Cantt elections 2021 while Muhammad Salman has been elected unopposed from Sanjwal Cantt ward two. Attock Cantt has 10,936 voters while Sanjwal Cantt has 4,021 voters.
