ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has left for China on two days visit.
Before leaving for China he said in a video statement that he was leaving for China on two days visit and he would meet Chinese Counterpart Wang Yi. Foreign Secretary Sohail Mahmood and senior officials are also accompanying him.
The Foreign Minister remarked bilateral strategic agenda would come under discussion during the meeting with the Chinese counterpart.
He said the two sides would also exchange views on the situation in Afghanistan and the region.
He said a detailed meeting would be held on the progress made so far on the projects related to China Pakistan Economic Corridor and its future strategy.
The Foreign Minister expressed confidence that his visit to China would further strengthen bilateral fraternal relations between the two countries.
We have to review Pakistan-China relations afresh, he underscored.
He underlined Sino-Pak friendship has entered Into 7th decade and it will be further fortified in the coming days.
