TRAR KHAL: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said how can we rig the polls when PML-N government is in place in Azad Kashmir and an election commission is therein.
‘ Our government will hold referendum if the Kashmiris want to remain with Pakistan or independent. It is being said that I want to make Azad Kashmir province. It is incomprehensible to me this thing has come from Where. Political rivals are fomenting baseless rumors about making Azad Kashmir a province”, he said this while addressing a public meeting on the eve of election here Friday.
PM held Kashmiirs have rendered unprecedented sacrifices for their freedom and they stood for their freedom again and again . I am fully sure the sacrifices rendered by Kashmiris will not go waste. Referendum will be held in the light of UN resolutions and Kashmiris will decide with whom they have to stay. Kashmiris will decide on their own that they want to stay with Pakistan and not with India.
He said we are making strenuous efforts for the last one year to bring elections reforms to make election process transparent and opposition has been invited to sit with government for this purpose.
Imran Khan said Electronic Voting Machines will bring an end to rigging allegations and help in holding transparent elections.
He remarked PML-N has done nothing with honesty so far. They have started saying from just now that there will be rigging.
He questioned government is yours, staff is yours and election commission is of your choice then how we will rig the polls.
Nawaz Sharif became finance minister and he had come to gym khana, He had brought two umpires with him. One was commissioner and second was deputy commissioner. When Nawaz Sharif became bowled out then one among the two umpires declared it no ball.
Addressing another rally at Kotli in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, the Prime Minister said he will continue fighting for Kashmiris’ basic right to self-determination that was given to them under UN resolutions.
The Prime Minister said being the Ambassador of Kashmir, he will raise Kashmir issue at every level including international media and world institutions.
He regretted over previous governments for doing nothing to end poverty in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and not highlighting Kashmir issue rigorously at world forum.
The prime Minister said on one side RSS based Hindutva ideology was inflicting atrocities on innocent Kashmiris while on the other hand our leaders were inviting the propagates of that ideology to their homes. He said due to their personal interests previous government leaders never criticized RSS-led Indian government.
The Prime Minister said our Naya Pakistan Housing and Kamyab Jawan program will prove to be the game life changing programs for Kashmiri people.
I am raising and will continue to raise voice of Kashmiris on every forum, he announced.
