Islamabad, (Parliament Times) : PPP Azad Kashmir President Chaudhry Latif Akbar had a detailed meeting regarding the general elections in Azad Kashmir with Faryal Talpur; in-charge of political affairs of Pakistan Peoples Party. The meeting at Zardari House on Thursday discussed effective and vigorous campaign strategies to ensure a landslide victory for the PPP in the forthcoming general elections in Azad Kashmir. On the occasion,Faryal Talpur, in-charge of political affairs, assured Latif of full support and assistance from the Central Party and said that Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari himself will lead the election campaign in Azad Kashmir and will visit district and divisional headquarters as well as address party meetings. Appreciating the leadership abilities of Chaudhry Latif Akbar, she directed him to run a full-fledged election campaign of the party’s nominees in the constituencies of Azad Kashmir and Mohajir-based Pakistan in consultation with the senior leaders of the party and with full consensus. She said in a message addressed to PPP followers that they are a valuable asset of the party. We will not allow this election to be stolen like Gilgit-Baltistan.
