Islamabad, (Parliament Times) : Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Punjab and senior PTI leader Sardar Tanveer Ilyas has said that the elections in Azad Kashmir should be held under the supervision of the army and troops should be deployed inside and outside the polling stations. Azad Kashmir government is engaged in pre-poll rigging, it is feared that PML-N would rig in Azad Kashmir elections. This he said while talking to reporters. He said that Farooq Haider was trying to provoke people by seeing the worst defeat of PML-N in Azad Kashmir. He added that the formula of partition of Kashmir was not under consideration at any level and the future of Kashmir would be decided only according to the will of Kashmiris.
Sardar Tanveer Ilyas further said that PTI Azad Kashmir had become a strong force and PTI would form government with a two-thirds majority in the elections to be held in July. “The next five years will be the years of change in Azad Kashmir. We have to do something for the people of Azad Kashmir in the true sense,” he said. He also said that that it was unfortunate that government had not been serious in solving the problems of the people. “Had Azad Kashmir politicians and bureaucrats spent half of the money spent on building private properties, Azad Kashmir would have become an ideal state for the world today,” he added. He further stated that PTI would take account of those who looted state resources, spend money on development of the state and create an effective system of accountability in Azad Kashmir as well as the process of impartial accountability.
