Tando Allahyar: Civilians Unity and the residents of Tando Allahyar have staged a vigorous protest against the drug trafficking, drug pushers and manufacturers in the district.
Meanwhile, the protest was led by Tando Allahyar Urban Alliance leader Ali Tehrani and Imran Khaskheli. According to the details, Civilian Unity in front of Shah Latif gate opposite Hyderabad road, maintained that the people charged with such criminal offences are intentionally playing with the future of the young generation. Illegal drugs such as heroin, cannabis, and morphine are sold on lakhs. Whereas, the protesters also alleged SSP Tando Allahyar and other police officers that they are also involved in drug trafficking and seem busy growing illegal money through promoting such activities. The protesters said that the hundreds of the people have succumbed to ill-fated drugs and consequently die of cancer and other critical diseases. However, hundreds of the citizens protesting from the Citizens’ Alliance Platform demanded from the IG Sindh and DIG Hyderabad to stem the flow of drugs immediately.
