Islamabad,(Parliament Times): Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Human Rights Commission Humayun Zaman Mirza has condemned the killing of innocent girl Tabassum Khadim in Serrari Darikot village on the outskirts of Hajira and has said that it is inhumane as much as it deserves to be condemned. He said that it is the responsibility of the state to immediately arrest the killers of Tabassum Khadim and meet the demands of justice.  The administration should fully investigate the case and immediately arrest the person wanted in Tabassum’s murder and arrest him.

He said that the attitude of the Hajira police is very inappropriate and the delay in the case is to acquit the killers of Tabassum Khadim. He said in a telephone conversation with Senior Journalist and Editor-in-Chief of Daily Parliament Times Mr Javed Iqbal ch that we stand with the people of Serrari in connection with the Tabassum case and they are ready to go to any lengths to arrest the killers of Tabassum. Surprisingly, the Hajira police have not yet registered an FIR in connection with the April 17, 2021 incident. He demanded that DIG Poonch Sardar  Rashid Naeem and SSP Poonch Chaudhry Zulqarnain should take immediate notice of this. It is the responsibility of the state to become a plaintiff in such a case and conduct a transparent investigation.

But, there is a world of numbness which is less to be condemned. He said that if the state is unable to do justice, then the Human Rights Commission would handle the case. He said that he would soon visit the area and take stock of the situation and will send a human rights team to the spot.
