In the developing countries a number of important elements have produced serious mandate for fresh methods of skills development to light monetary and societal desires. There are many ways of looking at poverty. According to United Nation absolute poverty is defined as “being so poor that you are deprived of basic needs.” Poverty research has increased across the world since the early 1980s. It is also seen that poverty among the youth is greater than in the general population. Observers are of the view that poverty in rural areas is more than the urban settings. The relationship between the poverty and unemployment is also an important dimension in assessing the phenomenon of poverty. People are unemployed and facing the economic challenges. Poverty is the big problem for poor who work in low paying jobs. Poverty affects the economic growth. The reason of low rate of economic growth is high inflation rates, it affects the quality of life of people specially by low wage earners and persons on fixed incomes. Vocational training contributes in the lives of the people meaningfully, but it is unknown how it contributes in the quality of life. This training has increased the opportunities and challenges for the individual and the nations. People used toempower themselves because they have to reach the industrial and economic environment to contribute the economic growth of the nation . Vocational training has brought the hope for the people. It is because of vocational training is encouraging the people to enter in to the job market. Vocational training is the aspect of the training that gives the people opportunities to get the practical skills and the basic scientific knowledge. In the developed world the concept of vocational training increased. European countries have made many policies over the vocational training and employment opportunities. European Social Fund (ESF) is helping the people in productive re-employment of workers and improves the quality of life. There are lots of lacks in the vocational training system but it is important to note that vocational training can play an important role in    the economic development, skill development and poverty reduction. The system of vocational training is changing day by day due to the poverty in the developing countries. People are more likely to get the vocational training that can help them to get job and poverty reduction. There is the need to change the current structures and functions. Changing system in vocational training can provide the skills to the individual. One of the developing countries, Pakistan with high growth rate in population where the youth is big part of the population is also lacking behind the quality in the vocational training. Youth is facing problems of employ-ability and skills. The growing poverty rate in Pakistan is due the lack of skilled workforce and low job holders in the country. Only 44% trained workers are in the workforce majority of the population is unskilled and unemployed. Therefore in Pakistan quality of life, health, education and vocational training is suffering. In Pakistan there are many technical and vocational training centers are working under the control of federal government and provincial government. The National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) is a higher body at the federal level and Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) is working at provincial level. The aim of the he higher authority is to regulate, maintain and deliver the policy direction for the Vocational and Technical Training (VTT). However there are many problems of financing and increasing population which creates trouble for the higher authority. Therefore, there should be more budget allocation and reforms in the system to reach the ultimate level of the demand of market value and employ-ability.
