These Days, politics is showing up as a hobby of constructive, critical and pictorial aid. Meanwhile, PTI is having a bad time and has to eat sweet fruit of patience in silence but is loudly speaking out of control. “Neither Sharif has any ideology nor is the N-League an ideological party”. This statement appeared on the Twitter account of Federal Minister for Science and Technology Mr. Fawad Chaudhry after the re-election of controversial DASKA won by PML-N on Saturday. Polling for the NA-75 by-election continued uninterrupted from 8 morning to evening. However, the votes were counted after the end of polling time. During the election, Mr. Ali Asjad Malhi of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Noshin Iftikhar of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had an interesting contest in the by-election of the constituency but Noshin Iftikhar remained in the lead after the results came out. Prior to the election, the tug of war between the two opposite parties was at a high peak as in her tweet, Maryam Nawaz said that re-election will not be the only issue, these perpetrators (saying to PTI) will have to be held accountable for the crime of stealing votes and kidnapping the staff of the Election Commission. The Election Commission of Pakistan had also annulled prior by-election in NA-75 Daska constituency of the National Assembly by declaring that Daska’s by-election was not “transparent and fair”. Besides all political controversies, the Daska re-election has proved that in the developing country, our commissions and courts are free and fearless from any threat. It may be recalled that in the last months, the Election Commission of Pakistan had declared the by-election of Daska NA-75 null and void on the issue of disappearance of presiding officers including law and order situation. PTI must ponder upon the loss and should realize that in the world of politics, good and bad will be decided by what will happen to public opinion. Also, it’s not a matter of hereditcal political set-up now. It is a matter of timeless ‘ragni’ and malice of power. If power is not a matter of principle, then the citizens do not care about anything other than their own authority.
