Rawalpindi,  (Parliament Times ):     Pakistan Day is a reminder of the goal of gaining independence from British and Hindu colonialism. Education and knowledge are at the forefront of the struggle that the Founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, has commanded us to pursue to achieve these lofty goals.

These views were expressed by the Chief Executive Officer of Knight Human Management Shalan GL. Pakistan Khalid Nawaz while addressing a special function organized by the School of Arts and Design on the occasion of Pakistan Day. The event was attended by a large number of teachers and students including Sarfraz Ahmed, Mohammad Safeer Ansari, Asim Pervaiz, Choudhary Nisar Ahmed, Col. ® Ajmal Khan and others.

Khalid said that students must fully understand Tehreek-e-Pakistan and the struggle for independence in the context of the goals for which our forefathers put their sincere efforts in practice and acquired this homeland after paying unprecedented sacrifices. He told the students that Islam is our religion and Quran is our constitution which was interpreted in the Resolution of March 23, 1940. Our religion and constitution urge us to seek education and knowledge. He mentioned that for the construction and development of the dear homeland, it is essential that the students get technical and professional education in line with the requirements of the modern world and make their character strong with good qualities and interpersonal skills.

He said that March 23, 1940 was a day in the history of the world when nothing had happened to show materialistically but our forefathers took a decision to get independence for the slavery of the Britons and the Hindus. “They did it well with their strong will under the dynamic leadership and guidance of the Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and now we have to get rid of hunger, poverty and slavery of various other ill practices and mafias”, he added. He further said that achieving freedom from these kinds of slaveries is in fact the message of March 23 and that should be our prime goal. He said that we, like our forefathers, should make a pledge with ourselves today that we want freedom from the current slaveries and all that needed is courage and awareness. He mentioned that KHM has been continuing this process of awareness and professional training of youth for many years. Serving the country and the nation is our prime concern for the last many years.

The Institute of Tax Training was also formally inaugurated on the occasion in which the youth will be trained in tax and business related legal matters aimed at promoting tax culture in the country with confidence. Khalid told that an online portal will also be set up for the complete guidance of the students. He said that in line with the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan, we will not only give confidence to the youth but also enable them to have no difficulty or hassle in getting decent jobs at home and abroad.
