Islamabad, (Parliament Times) : In-charge of PPP political affairs and president of women’s wing, Faryal Talpur has completed the party consultation process in order to ensure the success of PPP in the upcoming elections in Azad Kashmir. While finalizing the next election strategy, she has vowed that in Gilgit-Baltistan the mandate of the people will not be stolen here. The PPP will contest elections alone in Azad Kashmir and form a government there. She said that the independence movement and the development process in Azad Kashmir where the PPP had left were both reversed instead of moving forward.
She was addressing the party officials on Thursday. President Pakistan Peoples Party Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Latif Akbar, former President Azad Kashmir Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan, Leader of Opposition Chaudhry Muhammad Yasin, Senior Vice President Chaudhry Pervez Ashraf, Secretary General Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, Information Secretary Sardar Javed Ayoob and other senior leaders were also present on the occasion.
According to the complete details, preparations for the 2021 elections in Azad Kashmir have reached a climax. In this regard, Faryal Talpur, President, Women’s Wing, PPP, in-charge of political affairs, formally has inaugurated it. During her 10-day stay in Islamabad, she also held meetings with officials of 45 constituencies, including 33 constituencies of Azad Kashmir and 12 constituencies of refugees, and officials of the party organization and Allied Wings.
In the meetings, the central organization, including former ticket holders, Assembly candidates and Presidents and General Secretaries of various Allied Wings spoke in detail and commented on the electoral strategy. Former Senior Advisor Chaudhry Muhammad Riaz was present during the meeting and Secretary General Faisal Mumtaz Rathore assisted and briefed Faryal Talpur on the political and organizational issues of each constituency. Central Coordinating Secretary Amir Zeeshan Jral performed the duties of arranging and arranging the meetings with the party leaders. At the beginning of these party activities, Faryal Talpur first met Chaudhry Latif Akbar in which party president Chaudhry Latif Akbar briefed her in detail about the upcoming elections in Azad Kashmir and the political situation in Azad Kashmir. During the meeting, Ms. Faryal Talpur condemned the long lockdown and unfinished atrocities against the Kashmiri people in occupied Kashmir and said that the PPP stands with the Kashmiri people in their struggle for independence like a leaden wall. InshaAllah they will definitely get their basic right to self-determination. She said that PPP is the biggest political force in Azad Kashmir. We will not allow anyone to rob our vote. She told party officials that Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari himself would lead the election campaign in Azad Kashmir. Victory will be for the Pakistan Peoples Party. She also directed all party wings to run the election campaign in a lively manner in Azad Kashmir and refugee constituencies. She directed Chaudhry Latif Sahib at the Workers Convention across Azad Kashmir. She congratulated the senior leadership of the party, office bearers and all the allied wings and directed that the party’s election campaign should be run all over Azad Kashmir with the same diligence and enthusiasm. “With the unity and hard work of the party leadership, success will be the destiny of the people of Azad Kashmir”, She concluded.
