Rawalpindi, (Parliament Times):   Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Information, Punjab, has said that even on the day of election of Leader of the House in the Senate, the opposition did not give up coloring. If anyone has any objections, the newly elected chairman can form a parliamentary committee of the senate to inquire into the situation, she stated this while talking to media persons outside the Parliament House. She said that in fact they are looking for excuses to escape from the Senate elections. Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said that there should be tolerance in politics. Elections are not a battle of faith and disbelief. Elections are won and lost, but it should not be a matter of life and death. Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has adopted national thinking and has given priority to representation from a small province for the post of Deputy Chairman of the Senate and also showing a big heart to the opposition. Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the N League has remained silent on the arrest of anti-national elements in Balochistan and on the terrorists caught red-handed. N League is unable to make any comment. She said that we want to see a strong federation and that is why we are working with all the provincial units. She said that the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan is standing firm and now the chain of accusations should be stopped. She said that Yusuf Keep an eye on Raza Gilani’s brother Yousuf Asif Zardari made himself uncle and he will now face N League reaction. In response to a question, she said that sisters stand together to help of brothers and Insha Allah Sadiq Sanjarani will be successful as chairman senate.
