Covid vaccination begins simultaneously throughout the country

Islamabad:   Anti covid vaccination begins throughout the country.
PIMS’ nurse in charge Rizwana Yasmeen, Javed Iqbal from DHA office and Fahad Mehmood from a private hospital were vaccinated at NCOC center Islamabad.
Chief ministers of all four provinces participated in the ceremony through video-link.
SAPM for health Dr Faisal Sultan said that China has gifted 5 lac covid vaccine doses to Pakistan.
Dr Faisal claimed that 70 % of country’s population will be vaccinated by the end of this year.
According to details, health and other front line workers will be vaccinated in the first stage. Citizens aged more than 65 years will be vaccinated in second stage.
Punjab and Sindh originated their vaccination campaigns Wednesday. CM and Governor Punjab initiated the campaign in the province. Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology’s Dr Faraz and Dr Samaviya Akbar were vaccinated.
Sindh’s Chief minister Murad Ali Shah inaugurated the campaign for Sindh.
In a ceremony at Dao-Ojha hospital, Syed Murad Ali Shah initiated the vaccination process.
