Islamabad, (Parliament Times) : National Press Club Islamabad (NPC) hosted reception in honour of President Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK Raja Fahim Kayani while Chairman Jammu & Kashmir Salvation Movement (J&KSM) Altaf Ahmed Bhat presided the reception.
Addressing the Occasion Chairman J&KSM Altaf Ahmed Bhat said that, The actions of Modi led Fascist Government of Indian on August 5th 2019 i.e Revocation of Article 370 and 35A, should not be taken lightly. If the present government does not give a serious response to Revocation of Article 370, 35A and other measures, it will be a failure of this government and a black mark on its politics.
More than 50,000 Indians have acquired Kashmir domiciles while 1.5 million are under process, India wants to change the proportion of the population in occupied Jammu & Kashmir following the Israel model. Bhat added.
At this stage, Pakistan and Azad Kashmir have not raised such a staunch voice as required. The voice of the entire Hurriyat leadership has been suppressed by India by putting them behind bars.
Chairman JKSM Bhat further added that, After Allah Almighty, our support is Pakistan which we all acknowledge. Kashmiri people are fighting for the protection and integrity of Pakistan. thousands of Kashmiri people have been martyred for wanting to be a part of Pakistan.
Now India is pursuing a plan to suppress the Kashmir Independence Movement and eliminate it. Why did Pakistan make this atomic bomb? Innocent Kashmiris are being cut off, youth are being disappeared and they are being martyred. Pakistan’s foreign ministry has failed to play its role. Chairman JKSM Bhat added.
Altaf Ahmed Bhat while praising the role of diaspora community said that, Our Brothers in UK & Europe Raja Fahim Kayani, Lord Nazir Ahmed, Lord Qurban and other friends have done invaluable work for the Kashmir cause for which we pay tribute to all these brothers on the international level, but it is unfortunate that the ruling party of Pakistan and the political parties of Pakistan have not played their part.
Today Kashmiris are bathing in blood. Pakistan will never get this opportunity again. He said that I ask Imran Khan that in 73 years there have been many ups and downs in Kashmir issue but this is the first time in your government hat India has changed the status of Kashmir.
It is now your (Prime Minister Khan) responsibility to reverse it otherwise it will be a black mark on your face and the face of your party, still Imran Khan has time to take concrete steps for Kashmir otherwise Kashmiris will not forgive you. Chairman JKSM Altaf Ahmed Bhat added.
India did not dare to change the status of Kashmir during the previous governments. How did it happen during your rule? Bhat questioned.
Chairman JKSM Altaf Ahmed Bhat further said that, Hazrat Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Yasin Malik, Zafar Akbar Bha, Shabbir Shah, Asiya Andrabi and other Hurriyat leaders are in jails Kashmiris have sacrificed hundreds of thousands of lives. These sacrifices have been made for the integrity of Pakistan. Pakistan should appreciate these sacrifices and play its role for the freedom of Oppressed Kashmiris.
Kashmiris are grateful to the media and especially to the National Press for speaking out for Kashmiris in every difficult time.
Raja Fahim Kayani, President of Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK (TeK UK), addressing the reception said that the sacrifices made for the independence movement of Kashmir will not go in vain. The dark night of Indian oppression is about to end soon.The strength and stability of Pakistan is the guarantee of the independence of Kashmir. India must get out of Kashmir soon. The Kashmiri people will continue their struggle for self-determination in all circumstances.
He thanked the Pakistani nation for always supporting the Kashmiris and said that the Pakistani people have stood by the Kashmiris in every difficult phase. People have participated. We have done our part to make the Kashmir cause known to the world.
He said that India was massacring Kashmiris and the entire Hurriyat leadership was in jails. He asked the international community to play its role in giving Kashmiris their right to freedom.
President JI Youth Azad Kashmir Gilgit-Baltistan Nisar Ahmad Shahiq said that Kashmiris fighting in the struggle for independence are fighting the great jihad of history. Inshallah, the sacrifices of Kashmiris will not go unnoticed. Sacrifices of Kashmirisis an eternal story. The United Nations should take notice of the massacre of Kashmiris by the Indian Army.
