Islamabad, (Parliament Times) : While addressing a meeting of the Central Working Committee, PML-N Azad Kashmir President Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan said that the PML-N government had served the people to the fullest in the last four and a half years. The long standing problems of Azad Kashmir were resolved in our time by the grace of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi. PML-N leader Muhammad Nawaz Sharif boosted the development budget of Azad Kashmir, which ushered in a new era of construction and development in the region. In the last four and a half years, development projects have been implemented in every part of Azad Kashmir. He further said that after assuming power, we worked for the development of the common man, constructed policies keeping in view the plight of the poor and implemented them to the fullest so that the standard of living of the poor could be raised. “Real change has taken place in Azad Kashmir during the rule of PML-N”, He said. At present, all the inter-district highways of Azad Kashmir and major highways connecting Pakistan have been upgraded. When he came to power, he faced many problems, but by the grace of God, he overcame all difficulties and started the process of making Azad Kashmir a developed region, which is still going on today. The Prime Minister in conclusion viewed that PML-N would contest the upcoming elections on the basis of its performance. The people will decide whether they are satisfied with our performance or not. Meanwhile, in a statement on social media, the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan said that the United States has provided 5,000 sniper guns to the Indian state, which is targeting innocent citizens of Azad Kashmir residing near the ceasefire line. Last week, the Indian Army targeted an innocent civilian on his way home on a motorcycle. He said that India was attacking innocent civilians every day on the ceasefire line. Even innocent children are not safe from Indian aggression. The Prime Minister said that India has to account for the innocent blood of Kashmiris. The civilized world should take notice of India’s aggressive and disgusting intentions.
The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan has also expressed deep sorrow and grief over the death of the mother of former Federal Minister and PML-N leader Daniel Aziz and wife of the late Chaudhry Anwar Aziz. In his condolence statement, the Prime Minister said that God Almighty granted Daniel Aziz the strength to bear this tragedy. His father Chaudhry Anwar Aziz also passed away some time ago. May Allah grant patience to Daniel Aziz. The Prime Minister prayed for the patience of Jameel for the high ranks of the deceased. The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and PML-N President Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan attended the meeting of the PML-N Central Working Committee via a video link. Along with Raja Mohammad Farooq Haider Khan, Senior Vice President PML-N and Senior Minister Chaudhry Tariq Farooq, Speaker Assembly and Secretary General PML-N Shah Ghulam Qadir also attended the meeting via video link. PML-N Central Vice President Maryam Nawaz, Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Chairman PML-N Raja Zafarul Haq, PML-N Punjab President Rana Sanaullah, PML-N Vice President Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Muhammad Aziz and Chief Organizer Mushtaq Ahmad Minhas and other central leaders were also present.
