Rawalpindi: Former President and Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Muhammad Yaquob Khan has strongly condemned the brutal firing of Indian Army in Neelum Valley of Azad Kashmir and termed it as India’s naked aggression.Talking to different public delegations who called on him here on Monday the former premier while condemning the unprovoked firing by Indian forces on the Line of Control (LoC) said that unarmed civilians were being targeted and martyred on the Line of Control (LoC) on a daily basis.He said that it was incumbent on the United Nations to take notice of these barbaric acts of the Indian forces. About the worsening situation in IoK he said that “The situation in Occupied Kashmir has deteriorated to a dangerous level, Indian forces are carrying out the worst atrocities in the history of Occupied Kashmir”.Given the situation he said that the United Nations must play its role to end human rights violations in the region besides helping struggling people of Kashmir to exercise their right to self-determination. He said that the United Nations has failed to provide justice to the Kashmiris, the Kashmiris have been left at the mercy of the Indian forces.
