ISLAMABAD: Security is on high alert throughout Punjab including federal capital Islamabad after Peshawar blast.
Additional police personnel have been deployed at all the entry and exit points of the city and the checking process has been tightened. The security of government buildings which include Parliament house, President House, Senate, Prime Minister House, Secretariat and Diplomatic enclave in red zone and embassies has been tightened and snipers have been deployed.
IG Punjab has issued the orders to put security on high alert throughout Punjab. IG Punjab InamGhani gave these orders in the context of Peshawar blast. He also gave the orders to increase the duty timings of Dolphin force. He also directed that search and intelligence operations should speed up in all Districts.
