In this age and time, the major social issue that the society faces, is bullying. Bullying has been around us forever, in numerous forms. It not only effect children but also adults. Hence, to educate our generation, to de-escalate conflict in a productive and less violent way has become a necessity. Society still ignores the effects of bullying as according to them; the consequences of bullying are not drastic. For parents and teachers, the definition of bullying is limited to name-calling or fun making, but in today’s world, bullying has taken various forms. It has turned violent and leading to individuals to consider suicide. The educational institution around the world are ignorant of the psychological issues which arise in our generation as a result of School bullying. School bullying is not as simple as we think it is. Bullying affects many people differently, in majority of the cases as reported in US News that, “we find that bullying can have long- lasting negative effects on young people's live" (Mozes 1) . The victims of teenage bullying face mental health issues and it hits them hard at the age of 20 when they enter a struggling stage of their life. They spend their lives in depression, and it shatters their self-esteem. According to US News report, children who face bullies experience inter-personal difficulties, prefer to live lonely and isolated and their minds are mostly preoccupied with suicidal thoughts. Lack of knowledge regarding the tactics of Bullies and the complex forms of bullying have caused a drastic increase in the suicide rate and illegitimate actions. It is important to be aware of the forms of bullying, before forming an opinion. Bullying is a broad term, which encapsulated many forms like physical, verbal, relational aggression, cyberbullying, sexual and Prejudicial bullying. All these different forms are being practiced in schools where victims are unable to respond because they do not get the motivation to share their pains. According to UNESCO report on Global violence and bullying, violence and bullying in schools violate the rights of children, including their right to education and to health (School Violence and Bullying. Global Status Report 11) . Girls get pregnant in sexual assault, while physical violence causes many internal injuries. In Toronto, Canada; a father filed a case against Havergal College because they expelled her daughter when she exposes bullying cases in school. These institutions which are the foundation of a nation, are working to solidify their financial status rather than giving importance to Children. Bullying is a two-way process where it affects the victims and the bullies both. The bullies learn to normalize their violent attitude which follows them into adulthood as well. Kids who learn to pick out other children, carry same traits and transfer them into their social circle. The victims become Psychological patients while the bullies transform themselves into criminals. If we look at our surroundings, we can observe many social evils like rape, drug dealing, murders, human trafficking, and illegitimate pregnancies. These social evils stem from this bully culture which is not noticed by the parents and teachers. The majority of teachers and parents have the opinion that bullying is not a major problem. Children learn to deal with it and thus they become an indirect part of this bully culture. In every school, there is a Student advisor who helps the students with their Psychological issues. The major issue is, the students are unable to share these bullying incidents with anyone because their teachers act like a professional rather than being a friend or a psychologist. Moreover, parents do not encourage them to share such issues with family. Even UNESCO and newspapers are trying to alarm societies to consider bullying as a serious issue of this modern society. Only a small reformation in the Educational policy, an understanding on the part of teacher and parents, their care towards the betterment of child can prevent the students from becoming either a victim or a bully. The future of mankind is in the hands of our generations and we should try to make our future free from bullying culture. leading to individuals to consider suicide.
