Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) Nabeela Shahid, Senior Officer, Department of Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Mal, Punjab, has been posted as Divisional Director, Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Mal, Rawalpindi in own pay scale against a vacant post of Grade-19. She has assumed the charge of her new responsibilities on Wednesday. According to a notification, issued by the Social Welfare Department, Punjab, Nabeela Shahid has been appointed after the retirement of former Director Social Welfare Rawalpindi Division Muhammad Aslam Maitla. Nabeela Shahid have previously served as heads of various organizations of social welfare and also remained posted as Executive District Officer Community Development. She is an experienced and capable officer of Social Welfare Department who had successfully accomplished a number of public welfare oriented projects with active participation of philanthropists and community leaders. The officers and staff members of the Social Welfare Department have welcomed the appointment of Nabeela Shahid and assured her of all possible cooperation and expressed hope that under her leadership Social Welfare and Bait ul Mall Department Rawalpindi Division will maintain its high traditions with dignity and honor.
