Muzaffarabad:  (Parliament Times)   Minister for Information, Tourism, Sports and Youth Affairs Raja Mushtaq Ahmed Minhas has said that the Indian plan to reduce the number of Muslim seats in the Assembly in Occupied Kashmir will affect peace in the region.

In his statement, he said that India was already taking several aggressive steps to turn the Muslim majority into a minority in occupied Kashmir. He said that 500 domiciles were being issued to non Kashmiris on a daily basis in the camps set up in 22 districts. ?

He said the United Nations should take immediate notice of the situation and increase pressure on India to implement its resolutions. He said that despite all the aggressive measures taken by India, the Kashmiri people were fighting for their right to self-determination and would continue to do so.

He said that India has completely failed to suppress the Kashmiris’ independence movement and the day is not far when Kashmiris will succeed in their mission.
