KOHAT: Five children, including three brother and two sisters, of a family have drowned in a pond at Gumbat area of Kohat in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
According to media reports their mother while going to the pond for washing clothes took her children, three boys and two girls along with her.
The mother was washing the clothes when a child slipped and fell into the pond. On seeing this other four siblings jumped into the water to rescue him, but were also drowned in the process.
Local residents reached the spot and retrieved the bodies from the pond and shifted them to hospital.
