Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) A training workshop for doctors was organized at District Health Authority Rawalpindi in collaboration with Punjab Health Department and UNICEF in which awareness was given about the treatment of pneumonia and diarrhea in children and modern research.
In addition to pediatricians, District Surveillance Coordinator Dr. Waqar Ahmed and District Focal Person Fehmida Malik gave lectures in the workshop conducted under the supervision of CEO Dr Sohail Ahmed Ch, DHO Dr. Ehsan Ghani. The training workshop was also attended by renowned pediatricians from across the district, family doctors and busy general practitioners of the city.
The workshop discussed in detail the prevention, safety and treatment of pneumonia and diarrhea. The workshop participants were instructed to diagnose and treat pneumonia and diarrhea according to WHO standards.
