Rawalpindi,(Parliament Times) :The prisoners of Central Jail Adiala enthusiastically participated in 73th Independence Day celebrations of Pakistan. The event was organized by Senior Superintendent Central Jail Adiala Chaudhry Asghar Ali with the cooperation of Ms. Shaheena Chairperson Women Aid Trust, Islamabad. Malik Shaukat Feroz Deputy Inspector General Prison Rawalpindi Region was the chief guest while Deputy Superintendent (Executive) Malik Akram, Deputy Superintendent High Security Bariks Kamran Maqbool, Deputy Superintendent Development Kashif Rasool, Inspector Rangers Tariq Ranjha and other Jail officials attended the ceremony. Addressing on the occasion Malik Shaukat Feroz Deputy Inspector General Prison Rawalpindi Region appreciated the excellent arrangement of Independence Day Ceremony and paid tributes to father of nation Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and workers of Pakistan Movement who had made it possible to achieve a separate homeland for the muslims of sub-continent. He said Pakistan is blessing of Almighty Allah and we should have take care of our beloved country. Talking on the occasion Senior Superintendent Central Jail Adiala, Chaudhry Asghar Ali said that it is our moral and national obligation that we should play pivotal role in nation building and development of Pakistan. He appreciated the spirit of all those who had participated in different events of Independence Day celebrations. The inmates of Central Jail Adiala and singers from outside sang national songs. Various other items relating to struggle of Independence Movement were presented. The entire buildings of Central Jail Adiala were profusely decorated with national flags and colorful buntings. Gifts and sweets also distributed on the occasion. Earlier, an impressive National Flag hoisting ceremony was also held to mark the Independence Day.
