ISLAMABAD: Chairman CPEC Lt General (Rtd) Asim Saleem Bajwa said that work on Matiari Lahore 660 KV transmission line is in final stages.
General (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa said in his Twwet “660kV Matiari-Lahore HVDC Transmission line Project will evacuate power North-South, resolve one major issue.Scope; 4000MW Evac Capacity, 886KM, 1972 Towers. Cost’s 1.658 Billio.
Matiari-Lahore transmission line project has been completed 85 percent.
He also said project has created job opportunities directly for 2,212 persons. Apart from this, work on various projects under CPEC is also in full swing.
