Shopian,(Parliament Times): Renowned student leader and social activist of south Kashmir, Syed Tajamul Imran distributed cricket uniforms among the young cricketers of Shopian. This was the third time when cricket uniforms along with other cricket equipment were distributed among cricket players in the district. A cricket match too was played in his memory. “In memory of my brother Shahed Syed Ruban, I distributed some 70 cricket uniforms as of now among the young talented and aspiring cricketer of Shopian district to fulfil the dreams of my brother, as he was also a brilliant cricket player of the district,” said Tajamul Imran.  Young minds of the Valley must understand the importance of remaining healthy and fit and for these youths must play games whatever they like. Our mission has always been to engage youth in the field they most like. To boost their morale and appreciate their talent, we will continue to provide other equipment to these game-loving people. Importantly, the engagement of youth towards sports is highly commendable citing the growing drug addiction in the valley, Tajamul further added.

Imrans reach out to youths and people in distress especially during a pandemic is being widely appreciated. He has been working for the betterment of youth for a decade now. Speaking on the occasion Imran said, “I will distribute more uniforms along with other equipment in coming days.” It is pertinent to mention here that Syed Tajamul is the founder of All Jammu and Kashmir Students Union-AJKSU moreover, he was recently inducted in the Jammu and Kashmir People Association as Kashmir coordinator.
