Lahore: Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar has said that carelessness on Eid-ul-Adha can make Corona uncontrollable once again. Celebrating Eid simply is the only option to stop the spread of Corona. Disaster Management Authority (DMA) deserves tribute and applause for its historic role against Corona. Talking to party delegations from different districts, Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar said that people did not take Corona seriously on Eid-ul-Fitr due to which everyone has witnessed the severity of Corona epidemic. Now, if such a mistake is made on Eid-ul-Adha, it will have dangerous consequences. Therefore, in order to prevent the spread of Corona and its spread, it is necessary to implement SOPs 100%. Even in the cattle markets, there is no room for negligence in the implementation of SOPs as negligence can lead to an increase in the number of corona patients. He said that coronavirus has also shaken the entire world economy due to which not only Pakistan but also countries like USA and UK are facing economic challenge. Even under these circumstances, the government led by Prime Minister Imran Khan is using all its resources to strengthen the economy and the stock market has become the third largest market in the world to record 7.2% growth for 10 consecutive days. Exports are also increasing. The largest increase in business volume in six months is an important step towards the country’s development. Ch Sarwar said that the government would not leave the farmers alone on the issue of locust heart. Prime Minister Imran Khan has also announced a package for locust heart farmers. From day one, the government has a policy that will strengthen all sections of society, including farmers. We will ensure the provision of all facilities to the people including health and education. The New Pakistan Housing Scheme and the government’s decision to provide loans to the people on easy terms is also historic. This is proof that the government stands with its poor people. Governor Punjab strongly condemned the atrocities of Indian forces in Kashmir and said that India was committing genocide of innocent Kashmiris in Kashmir and worse state terrorism . The world should take serious note of this. Until the Kashmir issue is resolved, peace in the region will not be possible. Kashmir is still the lifeblood of Pakistan. We stand with Kashmir. We will fight for Kashmiris’ right to self-determination with all our might at every forum.
