KHAR,(Parliament Times): Bajaur district administration held all precautionary measures since February 26, 2020 first confirmed COVID-19 patient in Pakistan. Assistant Commissioner Khar Fazal Rahim has been fighting shoulder on shoulder with doctors and health department’s workers and established coordination with the masses to stop further spread of Corona pandemic. In accordance with provincial government’s instructions quarantine centers have been established in four locations in Tehsil Khar and Tehsil Mamond. Mr. Rahim personally supervises these centers to ensure better facilities to the quarantined persons. Yesterday during a masks distribution drive he told media that the district administration couldn’t handle this pandemic alone, He asks the masses to avoid unnecessary movement, gatherings and remain at home. Moreover he vows on youth, that they should cooperate with the administration and health workers to contain this life taking virus. Assistant commissioner appreciated advocacy and awareness campaigns launched by different youth led organizations, and ensured commitment that his office’s doors would be open for who seek support in all public oriented interests.
