ISLAMABAD:      All biometric machines have been removed from parliament house due to corona virus and attendance registers have been provided to all the branches of Senate and National Assembly (NA) for marking their attendance by the employees.

Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani has also started awareness campaign for protection against coronavirus.

All the biometric machines installed in parliament house for marking attendance of the employees have been removed as safety measure against coronavirus. All the employees working in different branches of Senate and NA have been informed that they should mark their attendance regularly in the attendance register in time..

Chairman Senate wore mask in office on Tuesday and issued necessary directives for taking safety measures.

He directed members of parliament and the media should play forceful role in creating awareness among the general public about Coronavirus. Awareness should be created among the people instead of spreading panic and sensationalizing the situation.

He held any major danger can be averted through proper awareness. The institutions should forge coordination and provide correct information to the people.

He underlined the people can get rid of this disease by taking precautionary measures rather than becoming fearful of this epidemic.
