Islamabad:     Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that six months have passed but National Accountability Bureau (NAB) could not prove charges against him as these are the old tactics of Accountability watchdog.

Talking to media men after appearing before Accountability Court (AC) on Monday, PML-N leader said that the allegation of misuse of powers has been abolished after promulgation of new amended ordinance.

NAB pressurizes my friends and relatives that their assets are owned by Shahid Khaqan, he claimed.
He said NAB is being used only for political engineering.

Criticizing accountability watchdog he said NAB has only one job and that is to defame people. Chairman NAB should ascertain remarks of Islamabad High Court regarding his bail.

NAB has paralyzed the country and devastated the economy.
Criticizing government he said Shah Mehmood Qureshi should give reply to us upon Kashmir dispute.

He claimed that Shehbaz Sharif will return country soon.
Letter written to Britain for the return of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has no diplomatic worth, he added.

He went on to say that what will be the biggest success for PML-N from than this that Bilawal, Government and media are talking about PML-N.

Earlier Accountability Court Islamabad heard the LNG reference against former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and other suspects on Monday.

Former PM Shahid Khaqan along with other suspects appeared before the AC.

AC judge Azam Khan took up the case for hearing.

During the course of hearing, Counsel of Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that supplementary reference of LNG case has not been presented before the court till yet.
Upon it NAB prosecutor said that supplementary reference is in the stages of preparation and will be presented in the court till next hearing.

Prosecutor further said that investigation officer will present the progress report on declaring Shahid Islam proclaimed offender as he was on the way and will submit its report in the court within some time.

Later on Investigation Officer of NAB presented the report regarding former MDPSO Shahid Islam on reaching in the court.

According to the report, again attempt was made for compliance of non-bail able arrest warrants of Shahid-ul-Islam.

Shahid-ul-Islam is not present on his any address.

NAB investigation officer prayed that court should declare Shahid Islam proclaimed offender duly.

Court has adjourned the hearing till April 1st.
