Says people’s struggle finally culminated in formation of new constituency,

Rawlakot: (Parliament Times)    Former Information Minister Government of Azad Kashmir Sardar Abid Hussain Abid while welcoming the decision of establishing new Halqa (Constituency) said that he was grateful to the people of the area whose efforts and continuous struggle has finally culminated in the formation of new constituency.

While talking to public delegations that called on him here on Thursday Sardar Abid thanked all political parties, previous government and current Chief Election Commissioner for their all-out support in achieving this goal. Speaking on the occasion he said, “With the establishment of a new Halqa (constituency) job opportunities for educated youth will be available in addition to development funds, additional projects. He said that establishment of Halqa was one of the longstanding demands of the people of Rawlakot.

Sardar Abid said that a token of thanks was due to former Prime Minister Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Abdul Majeed, incumbent Prime Minister Raja Mohammad Farooq Haider, former Chief Election Commissioner Justice Ghulam Mustafa Mughal and current Chief Election Commissioner Abdul Rashid Silhariya and Member Election Commissioner Farooq Niaz who played vital role in establishing the consitutency. He also praised the members of the legislature that passed the law giving assent to the formation of four new constituencies.

The former Minister of Information added that PPP during his last tenure has done remarkably well in providing education, health, and other amenities of life to the people throughout Azad Kashmir
