Islamabad: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has criticized PTI led government in Punjab saying Punjab is not delivering, therefore, PTI overall is facing pressure.
While criticizing Punjab government during PTI core committee meeting on Friday Chaudhry said Punjab has only released Rs 77 billion till now out of development budget of Rs 350 billion.
He said Punjab is also not giving provincial financial award to districts.
Chaudhry further said that PTI is facing pressure overall.
On being pointed out by federal minister , Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has ordered issuance of provincial finance commission award and directed that funds should be transferred to districts swiftly after announcing provincial award.
Federal Minister further added that centre is also facing criticism due to Punjab.
“Government of Imran Khan is doing a great job but we are facing criticism upon public, political level due to poor performance of Punjab, Minister said.
