Bagh :  (Parliament Times)   Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan has expressed displeasure over the substandard quality of the construction of District Complex Bagh and ordered to submit a inquiry report to him on the use of substandard building material and also directed to concerned departments,to talk to ERRA as well on this matter.
In a review meeting,during the Prime Minister’s visit to district Bagh,on Thursday,Deputy Commissioner Abdul Hameed Kiani and XEN Public Works Malik Tahir Zaffar briefed the Prime Minister on the newly completed Mega Project under “Bagh City Development Project”.
Prime Minister observed that it was obligation of department of Housing and Physical Planning and department of Public Works along with the relevant construction firm to check the quality of the construction work when it was underway.
“There are no drainage arrangements are made and plywood is used instead of wood and a lot of work is uncompleted yet,”he said.
Minister for Forests, Sardar Mir Akbar Khan, minister for Information, Tourism, Sports and Youth Affairs Raja Mushtaq Ahmed Minhas, Minister for Health Dr. Muhammad Najib Naqqi and other senior officials were also present in the meeting.
Prime Minister said that government would provide funds for the construction of roads.
Prime Minister constituted a new allotment committee headed by the Secretary Services and General Administration for the allotment of the offices in the Complex to different departments. Secretary Housing and Physical Planning and Commissioner Ponch Division were among the other members of the allotment committee. This committee will allot offices to all departments on the basis of their needs.
Meanwhile minister for Forests Sardar Mir Akbar Khan hosted a dinner in the honor of Prime Minister last night.
Prime Minister met the workers of PMLN and listened the issues of the workers.
Earlier, a delegation of Ulmas of Bagh called on Prime Minister Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan and discussed the matters related to land for mosques and Madrasss. The delegation was consisted of Molana Aminul Haq Farooqi, Molana Imtiaz Siddiqui, Molana Syed Attaullah Shah, Syed Wajahat Gerdezi, Molana Shoukat Arif Qadri and Molana Abdul Razzaq.
A delegation of Lawyers led by Azad Haider Advocate also met to Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan on same day.
