ZHOB: Medical Superintendent District Headquarters civil hospital Dr. Hadi Kakar has said that Murgha Kibzai in general while Laka Bund area in particular is backward and the area people are suffering a lot. Balochistan Rural Support Programme has a great contribution in development sector and changing the life standard of marginalized communities.

He was speaking at the inaugural event of Local Support Organization office New Laka Band in Killa Baz Khail village of the union council. Chief guest of the inaugural event Dr. Hadi Kakar cut the ribbon to formally inaugurate the UC-based organization office. He was flanked by Field Unit In-charge Naqeebullah Babar, prominent social activist Sheikh Ashraf Mandokhail, president LSO Hussain Ahmed Kibzai and secretary general Habib Gul Kibzai. LSO executive body and general body members, Ulema, notables and community members in a large number attended the event.

The chief guest appreciated BRSP’s efforts in uplifting rural communities and active participation of community in the development process. He assured every possible support where and when required to contribute in alleviating poverty in the area.

“BRSP is playing significant role for the development and to improve the living conditions of rural people across Balochistan,” he said.

Addressing on the occasion Field Unit In-charge Naqeebullah Babar expressed pleasure and said that the establishment of LSO office is aimed at serving the rural community and enabling the people to identify their issues.

“The newly established office is provided with furniture, stationary, computer and other required facilities,” adding besides LSO, 47 community organizations and a dozen village organizations have also been formed in the area under EU-funded BRACE Programme. Village Development Plan (VDP) and UC development plans are in final stages. He said.

“BRSP has been working since long and put the people of rural areas on the path of progress and development. The newly established LSO would help to minimize difficulties of poor community in for-flung hilly areas,” He hoped.
