Two public sector buildings damaged in Sehra, Tattapani sector in AJK, Civil authorities:

Rawalakot/MIRPUR (AJK):(Parliament Times) Two public-sector buildings were damaged as a result of unprovoked shelling by Indian forces from across the Line of Control on civil populous areas of forward Sehra village at the LoC in Tattapani sector in Rawalakot district of Azad Jammu Kashmir on Tuesday, authorities said.
Commissioner Poonch Division Ch. Muhammad Raqeeb told this Correspondent over telephone Tuesday night that Indian army resorted to unprovoked shelling at about 10.00 a.m Tuesday targeting the civilian populous areas close to this side of the LoC in Tattpani sector which continued till 4.00 intermittently, he added.
The Indian shelling resulted in damaging of the Government Inter College building and a Basic Health Unit in Sehra village, the Commissioner said adding no loss of life was fortunately reported from any part of the firing-hit area comprising far-flung mountainous belt.
Meanwhile, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Tuesday “Six soldiers of the Indian army, including an officer, were killed as Pakistan Army gave a befitting response to New Delhi’s ceasefire violations along the Line of Control.
“Pakistan Army targeted Indian posts. 6 Indian soldiers including an officer killed, many injured 2 bunkers destroyed,” DG ISPR Major-General Asif Ghafoor said in a statement on Tuesday.
According to the military’s media wing, Indian fire in Tatta Pani Sector along the LoC had martyred three civilians, including a seven-years-old boy.
“Pakistan Army’s befitting response to Indian CFVs in Tatta Pani Sector along LOC. Indian fire had martyred 3 civilians including 7 years old boy. Pakistan Army targeted Indian posts. 6 Indian soldiers including an officer killed, many injured 2 bunkers destroyed”, DG ISPR Major-General Asif Ghafoor said in a statement on Tuesday.
Ceasefire violations have witnessed a surge after New Delhi revoked the special status of occupied Jammu and Kashmir earlier this month which escalated the tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighboring states.
