RAWALPINDI:     Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ahsan Iqbal on Wednesday appeared before National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi office for alleged involvement in misappropriation of government funds in the Narowal Sports City Complex.

During the appearance, the NAB investigation team handed over a questionnaire to the PML-N leader and directed him to reply as soon as possible.

Talking to media, Ahsan Iqbal said that PML-N leaders are not afraid of tactics being adopted by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government as they will never resist against their arrests.
He further demanded to provide facilities to Rana Sanaullah, who is in the jail on 14-day remand after Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) recovered drugs from his car.

Iqbal has been accused of illegally initiating the project of Rs3 billion in Narowal and causing a loss of billions of rupees to the national exchequer. Furthermore, it has been revealed that in the construction of the Sports City, the Pakistan Sports Board has exceeded from its authority.
