Lahore : Provincial Information and Culture Minister Syed Sumsam Ali Bukhari has said that PTI government does not believe in any backdoor diplomacy regarding NRO. Prime Minister Imran Khan holds the vision that no one whether known or unknown will be spared from accountability. Those sending messages sitting behind closed doors will face disappointment. He expressed these views while talking with media persons during inaugural ceremony of Education Expo at Expo Center Lahore today. Sumsam Bukhari further said that cases going on in courts against opposition are framed by both these parties against each other who have become allies today. He further said that previous governments artificially managed to stop dollar price while present government gave it market-based rate and framed the economy on factual basis. Daily fluctuation in the price of dollar is due to its being market-based. He further said that those who do not pay taxes will have to pay it now and if these people pay tax then poor will be provided relief and facility. Matters will not run through donations. Provincial Information Minister further said that unpragmatic economic policies of previous governments gave birth to black economy and the whole nation is paying its heavy cost in the shape of unstable economic conditions. Provincial Information Minister in reply to a question further said that if the former minister knew that his name is on the watch list, then he should not have attempted to go abroad. He further said that I am not aware about details of the case but now-a-days it is quite easy to get to know of ones name being or not on the ECL list. Some matter must have been going on against the former minister for which he has been barred from going abroad. He further said that we will remove reservations of traders and are trying to provide maximum relief to common man. On the other hand, tax evaders will get no relief in any case. He further said that few traders group are getting the support of few selective political parties. These political parties control such traders while the government will remain steadfast on its policy to provide ease and protection to the traders and all other segments of the society.
In the Education Expo Provincial Minister said that the future of Pakistan is linked to making greater connections with technology and with global nations. International isolation cannot become our fate. He further said that by witnessing different stalls displayed in Education Expo he felt pleased. By visiting every stall new information was obtained regarding advancement of youth in the field of education. He further said that arrangements of such exhibitions is highly beneficial for the students as well as for the youth.
