MUZAFFARABAD:  (Parliament Times)      The AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan attended special prayers along with citizens for prominent Kashmiri leader and internationally famed diplomat late Yousuf Bachh at his grave on Saturday.

The Premier had Iftar with residents of Muzaffarabad at Darbar Shah Inayat on the other day. He told the citizens that Bachh’s eternal abode would be arranged in consultation with his family. He said his government made serious efforts for the last journey of the international diplomat and legend of Kashmir liberation struggle late Yousuf Bachh for a dignified burial with statehonor.

Mr. Haider said a chair would be named after Bachh in AJK University while a literary corner would be set up in central library in his name.

“Duaya Taqreeb” was also attended by Chairman PM Examination and Implementation Commission Zahid Amin Kashaf, Chairman MDA Malik Ayaz, Administrator MC Kh. Azam Rasool, Retd. Secretary Shaukat Jan Bachh, Kh. Abbas Qadri, Mir Iftikhar, Safeer Raza, Asif Mustafai and others.

Meanwhile the Prime Minister handed over two luxury buses worth 3 crore rupees to Principal Muzaffarabad Medical College. It may be recalled that provision of buses was announced for medical college by former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif during his visit to Muzaffarabad. The Principal of college expressed thanks to the PM for meeting the need of transport of his college.
