Islamabad: In persuasion of the orders of Prime Minister Imran Khan interior ministry has established Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in the federal capital.
On the other hand, interior ministry has abolished Crime Investigation Department and Rapid Response Force and merged them into CTD.
CTD will perform just like the mandate of provinces.
No recruitment will be made in it till one year.
This force will work with CID officials.
