ISLAMABAD:     Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan Thursday said the nation under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan was determined to treat the cancer of corruption and economic decline accordingly
Responding to media talks of Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leaders, she, in a statement, said an incapable former prime minister and the vision of enlightened Pakistan could not go side by side.
She said the central PML-N leadership was in the jail and the second one was on the run while the rest of their relatives had become absconders in corruption cases.
She said in opposition’s eyes, those were incapable and ineligible who were not involved in corrupt practices and furthermore those who inquired about their corrupt deeds, fell into the same category of incapable and ineligible.
Dr Firdous was of the view that She said as per criteria of the opposition, only those were capable who told them about new ways of money laundering, helped in securing their black money, indulged in showmanship after plundering national wealth, took away morsel of food from others children and fed their own bellies.
She said opposition’s leadership was so arrogant that their elected representatives could not even meet them.
The rise of stock market by 1,000 points was a positive development but it could not be digested by the opposition, she added.
