MUZAFFARABAD:  (Parliament Times)    The AJK Prime Minister directed for early completion of Western Bypass Gojra, establishing a bridge at lower plate, bettering the condition of roads at Upper Chattar and sewerage of the city. He ordered for immediate releasing of money for these projects.

The Premier  also examined the fencing of Agrotech ground. He directed for protection of Eidgah land and identifying places for graveyards, embellishment of rest houses adjacent to Chhatar Secretariat, that were taken back from FWO. He ordered for preparing and obtaining approval of a scheme forthwith. He also ordered on spot to address the people’s problems at several places.

The Premier stopped at the municipal staffers busy in cleanliness and appreciated their work.

Speaking on the occasion he said Muzaffarabad was capital of the state hence its cleanliness and beautification was government’s responsibility. He said the city was experiencing much heat for lack of trees. He was of the view that every house should plant a sapling. He directed forests and agriculture department to ensure provision of saplings to the citizens. He said the city was known for its greenery which was diminishing now.

He said citizens should also supplement government’s efforts to achieve desired level result. He was also given briefing on different projects in the city and its future needs. He assured that mega projects would be included for major cities of AJK including Muzaffarabad in the next budget. He reviewed the ongoing development projects in the city and proposed new projects.
