MUZAFFARABAD: (Parliament Times) The AJK prime minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan says women are playing an
important role for growth and development of the State.
The Prime Minister said government carried out legislation on violence and cruelties
against women. He said government was considering to ensure their share in property.
He said thousands of women benefitted from the free of interest loans extended by his
government in cooperation with Akhuwat. He directed the ministers to take steps to
resolve women’s legitimate problems.
The Premier claimed that after introduction of NTS and restructuring of PSC scores of
talented women were inducted into education department on merit. He assured that
PML-N government was committed to the welfare of the masses including women .He
said his government was working according to its set priorities for the growth and
development of AJK.
