MIRPUR (AJK):  AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan has said that India seems rolling back the confidence building measures (CBMs) on one pretext of the other instead of moving for the early peaceful settlement of long-standing conflicts especially the core issue of Jammu & Kashmir with Pakistan through a meaningful dialogue.

Talking informally to this Correspondent here during a brief visit of Mirpur Saturday, the AJK Prime Minister said that India seemed finding pretexts to roll back the confidence building measures, he added while denouncing the recent Indian government’s unilateral decision of suspending the cross-LoC trade between both sides of the Line of Control – Azad Jammu Kashmir and Indian occupied Jammu & Kashmir.

Farooq Haider dismissed the baseless allegations leveled by India as cause of suspending the cross-LoC trade. India, he added, always skipped off the dialogue process under the bogey of the baseless allegations.

“CBMw strengthened the relations between Jammu & Kashmir people living at both sides of Line of Control”, he observed. “India could not digest it”, he remarked.

The AJK Prime Minister underlined that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had advised extremists and fanatics to use all possible tactics and ploy to crush the liberation struggle of the people of Jammu & Kashmir.

Meanwhile, the AJK Prime Minister said in his twitter message “we need ever-lasting political stability”.

Haider emphasized that Pakistan need political stability without which problems faced by the country could not be overcome, he observed. Ends
