Peshawar: Chief Minister K-P Mahmood Khan has announced to merge Levies and Khasadar forces into police.
A formal notification in this regard has also been issued.
Chief Minister K-P during a press conference in Peshawar announced to merge Levies and Khasadar forces into police.
He said today a formal notification on Levies and Khasadar forces merger into police has been issued and now from today all 28,000 Levies and Khasadar forces will be police.
CM said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed that no one should be made jobless and from this step of provincial government 28,000 people will avail the benefit.
He further said that Levies and Khasadar forces rendered unprecedented sacrifices in war against terror.
CM said that today is the historical day regarding merger of Levies and Khasadar forces into police.
He said PM will fulfill all his promises and no one will be made jobless.
Khasadar force will be given every type of training.
All the perks and privileges that have been given to K-P police will now also be given to Levies and Khasadar forces, he added.
