MUZAFFARABAD:(Parliament Times) The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan believes that Pulwama incident had never taken place, if Indian forces not engaged in massacring Kashmiri youth.
Addressing public meetings during his visit to Chakothi LoC on Thursday he said it was in retaliation by Kashmiri youth who had been humiliated and brutalized by Indian forces in India held Kashmir. He said people at both divide of LoC are revengeful and have hatred in their hearts against Indian forces that have let loose a reign of terror against them while Pakistani forces are enjoying sympathies of them.
“Village defense committees would be formed at LoC while medical facilities would be provided to the people living in community bunkers” he said.
Mr. Haider also applauded the sacrifices rendered by the people while braving Indian forces unprovoked and indiscriminate firing from across the LoC.
He said projects worth 13 crore rupees are being launched at the earliest while State government had written to federal government for a package worth 5 billion rupees to provide all necessary facilities and requirements to the firing affected people.
The Premier added that federal government had also been written to provide health cards and financial support from Benazir Income Support Programme for the affected people in AJK.
Showering the praises upon the people of Chakothi he acknowledged that they were brave and recalled that first Nishan-e-Haider was also gotten by a daring man of armed forces who belonged to this area.
He also congratulated PAF pilot who downed two Indian war aircrafts and said our armed forces also performed brilliantly during the mounted escalation between India and Pakistan.
Information minister Mushtaq Ahmed Minhas, higher education minister Col. Retd. Waqar Noor, minister for civil defense Ahmed Raza Qadri, minister for TEVTA Mustafa Bashir, secretaries, commissioners and other high level officers attended the meeting.
