ISLAMABAD: State minister for interior Shehryar Afridi has said efforts are being geared up to ensure complete implementation of National Action Plan (NAP).
The minister of state for interior tweeted, “Operation against proscribed organisations as per National Action Plan 2014 (NAP) shall continue till achievement of objectives. Efforts to accelerate progress on complete NAP are being pursued.”
Government had announced a day before that 44 members of proscribed organizations including brother and son of Maulana Masood Azhar, chief of proscribed Jaish-e-Muhammad.had been taken in preventive detention.

Shehryar Afridi and interior secretary Azam Suleman held a joint press conference in this respect and told the media men that those who have been detained include Hammad Azhar son of Masood Azhar and his brother Mufti Abdul Rauf.

Name of Hammad Azhar and Mufti Abdul Rauf are included in dossier received from India, Those who have been arrested will be investigated.
