MUZAFFARABAD : (Parliament Times) A rally led by federal minister for Gilgit Baltistan and PTI President Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry was held in the capital city on Monday to express solidarity with daring armed forces of the country and people of Indian Occupied Kashmir.

The rally commenced from Saathra park which is located at a height in Muzaffarabad and culminated at Afzal Guru Shaheed chowk. Leaders of PTI including Khawaja Farooq Ahmed, Jawad Ali Gillani, Syed Murtaza Ali Gillani, Taqdees Gillani, Hanif Awan, Azhar Gillani, Sardar Tabarak Ali and workers of PTI, traders and a large number of citizens participated in the rally that chanted slogans like PAK ARMY ZINDABAD and held high banners and placards inscribed on them “Pak Foj Zindabad”.

Addressing on the occasion Gandapur paid rich tributes to the armed forces that gave a befitting response to Indian aggression and showed it was ready to retaliate any attack against the country by the enemy. He said the defense of the country was in safe hands. People of Pakistan and Kashmir are ready to fight side by side armed forces for the defense of the country, he added. Imran Khan proved to be a rational and composed leader by giving the message of peace to India, he stated.

“We want peace as war to us was no solution to any problem but our gesture for peace should not be attributed as our weakness. Government and people of Pakistan were, are and will be with people of Kashmir” he said.

Gandapur said Indian forces crossed all limits of atrocities, brutalities and human rights abuses in the held valley. In praise he said “we pay salam to people of Kashmir and our valiant armed forces who taught a lesson to the enemy that initiated naked aggression against us”.

Gandapur made it clear to India that we want to resolve all the issues between us with dialogue but our gesticulation for peace and dialogue should not be ascribed as our weakness. He warned India never to try to resort another such misadventure against Pakistan.

The minister believed that India staged Pulwama drama to find a pretext of aggression against Pakistan in a bid to enhance his vote bank in the upcoming general elections in India.

He said international human rights organizations, UN human rights commission and European Union have taken notice of massive human rights violations in IOK.

Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry and Khawaja Farooq also addressed with the rally.
