Gilgit Baltistan: Land operation has been started to rescue the British and Italian mountaineers who had gone missing during scaling Naga Parbat in Gilgit Baltistan (GB).
According to GB government spokesman, 8 members team is doing this job and Chief Minister GB Hafiz Hafeez has issued directives to conduct aerial and land rescue operation. Police high altitude force has been deployed for security arrangements, he added.
According to local policeman, aerial service has been suspended due to Indo-Pak border tension and Rescue operation could not start through Helicopter in Naga Parbat. No contact has been made with Scaling Mountaineers of Naga Parbat from last four days, he lamented.
